Mark Bedworth - Committee Chair

Mark Bedworth serves as the Unit Advancement Chair and Comittee Chair, where he is dedicated to fostering growth and development within the community. With a passion for the outdoors, Mark enjoys hiking and camping, often finding inspiration in nature. He believes that experiences in the great outdoors not only build character but also strengthen teamwork and leadership skills. When he's not advancing unit goals, you can find him exploring new trails or planning his next camping adventure.

Art Briggs - Scoutmaster, Boys Troop 25

Art Briggs is the Scoutmaster for Troop 25B, where he passionately guides young scouts on their journey of growth and adventure. With a love for the outdoors, Art enjoys camping, biking, and fishing, finding joy in both exploration and camaraderie. He is dedicated to helping others and believes that being a scoutmaster offers invaluable opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of youth. When he’s not leading troop activities, you can often find him enjoying nature or planning the next big adventure.

Kevin Joyce - Cubmaster & Asst. Scoutmaster

Kevin is passionate about the great outdoors and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and spending quality time with his family. As an enthusiastic leader in scouting, Kevin finds fulfillment in guiding young scouts through their journey toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout. His commitment to helping others, coupled with his love for outdoor adventures, drives him to create meaningful experiences for the scouts he leads. Kevin is proud to play a role in shaping the future of scouting and supporting each scout as they grow into capable and confident individuals.

Adam Pickett - Treasurer

Adam works full-time for the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and dedicates his time and expertise to supporting our scouting program as Treasurer. Beyond his role on the committee, Adam is a proud father of one of our scouts and a devoted husband. He enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and caring for his new Sheperdoodle. His commitment to scouting and love for nature make him a valued member of our team.

Mike Jordan - Webmaster

Mike has been involved with scouting since his son joined as a lion at Troop 28 in Herkimer.
